BAKDES

Hi everyone, today I want to tell you about Bakdes.

Bakdes stands for Bakti Desa. Bakti desa is one of my school program that held every year for student from 11 grade. We went to some village and live there for 3 days, we stayed at villagers house and we have to help them did their job. The place for bakti desa this year is Cibeureum.

In the first day, we went to Cibereum by angkot. We make a group consist of 4 for one house. I was the same group with Alfina, Cynthia, and Shabrina. We went to our new home and met the family. We were free to do anything there until evening. In the evening, we gahetered to discuss the activity for the children in TPA. After that, we went back to our home and take a rest.

In the second day, we followed our host family to work. My host family was a business man. Every night, we made a jelly and we distributed it in the morning to warung-warung. On the noon, we make a popcorn and sell it. In the evening, we played with the children and held a bazar for villagers there, we give a clothes and book. After that, we played with the children again and then we went back to home.

In the third day, this is our last day here. We went to some lake by foot, it took several minutes. The lake was the source of Citarum river. We took a photo there and we had a good time too. After that, we went back by car to the village and say goodbye to our host family and the leave Cibereum village.
